Andrew Poppins is a fully qualified PGA of Australia Professional, Advanced in coaching and an all abilities coach.
Andrew’s philosophy in golf is to make it simple, “less equals more” from Butch Harmon number 1 coach World Hall of Fame. This leads to lower scores and makes the game more fun!
He is passionate about providing private or group lessons for people of all ages and abilities with a focus on fun, practical coaching advice and playing lots of golf on course.
As a member of the PGA of Australia, he feels privileged to be part of a community striving to grow the game of golf and help all Australians enjoy the ‘game for life’.

Sandringham public golf course is owned by the City of Bayside and operated by The Royal Melbourne golf club. As it is a community asset where all are welcome which is why 1Club Golf thinks its the perfect place to run our pathway to get as many local residents out using their golf course as is possible. Having just undergone a major redevelopment Sandy’s new course has been designed by Mike Cocking from OCM and built by the links staff of Royal Melbourne. The links features generous fairways, firm, fast greens, Sandbelt bunkering and is fun to play whether you are a beginner, a high handicapper or a serious golfer. The facility also boasts an undercover driving range a putting course and practice putting green. Great course. Great fun. But don’t just take our word for it!
